Drexel University
Drexel's campus is 60 acres and located in University City in Philadelphia. They have 73 full time undergraduate programs.
78 master's programs and 32 doctoral programs. They have great programs in education, medical fields, engineering, business,
biomedical engineering, and much more. They have more then 160 student clubs and organizations so there is something for everyone.
Temple University
Temple is located in Philadelphia PA and has numerous degree programs. To name a few: accounting, architecture, art,
business management, communications, criminal justice, dentistry, education, English, journalism, law, marketing, music, pharmacology,
religion, theatre, and many more. 1.5 miles from center city, a short walk, or four subway stops from museums, shopping, and
lots of culture!
Philadelphia University
This school was previously called Philadelphia Textile and is known for its architecture and fashion programs. They do
not just have programs in fashion design but also in fashion merchandising for those of you interested in the buying and selling
end of fashion. They also have programs in textiles, psychology, finance, chemistry, engineering, and architectural engineering
to name a few.
University of Pennsylvania
This is a historic Ivy League school in the middle of the city. This school had 12 different "schools" to study in and
174 research centers and institutes. It has nursing, engineering, business, anthropology, biochemistry, biophysics, criminology,
economics, English, and much more.
Penn State
Penn State is a multi campus school with locations in Abinton, Altoona, Berks, DuBois, Harrisburg, Lehigh Valley, Schuylkill,
and much more. They have programs in Agricultural sciences, Architecture, Business, Communications, Education, Engineering,
health, Liberal Arts and more. Penn State was founded in 1855 as an agricultural college, and admitted its first class in
1859.
Villanova University
Villanova University has been sponsored by the Augustinian Order since its founding in 1842. Today, the University is comprised
of five colleges: Liberal Arts and Sciences (Villanova College), Engineering, School of Business (formerly known as the College
of Commerce and Finance), Nursing and the School of Law.
La Salle University
La Salle University has undegraduae, graduate, and professional and continuing studies. Located at 1900 W. Olney Ave.,
Philadelphia, PA 19141. Programs in accounitng, education, nursing, chemistry/biochemistry, English, history, geology, marketing,
sociology, and many more. La Salle offers 47 undergraduate majors, 13 minors, 14 graduate programs, including a doctoral program
in Clinical Psychology, and 33 certificate programs. Majors and certificates are organized into three schools: Arts and Sciences,
Business, and Nursing.
Kutztown University
Kutztown University is located in Kutztown PA. Comprising five colleges Visual and performin arts, Business, Education,
Liberal Arts and Sciences, and graduate Studies. They have a well-rounded program of athletic, cultural, and social events
and activities that satisfies nearly every taste.
Bucks County Community College
Bucks County Community College (BCCC), is another school that I graduated from, and I had a wonderful experience there.
This is a great place to start your college experience and is afordable. "Bucks is where to learn, where to return." They
have transfer agreements with a number of school and programs for nursing (LPN and RN), cinema, music, design, graphics, medical
assistants, sports management, humanities, biology, chemistry, nanofabrication, and many more. They also offer amny certification
programs and job training.
Community College of Philadelphia
The Community College of Philadelphia or CCP is located at 1700 Spring Garden Street right in the heart of Philadelphia.
Another great community colleg to start out at. They have many associate degree programs, certification programs, and job
training as well. They have transfer agreements with many 4 years schools. Accounting, computer forensics, culture, management,
education, diagnostic medical imaging, economics, just to name a few of their programs.
Montgomery County Community College
Montgomery County Community Collefe was founded in 1964 and began serving the community in 1966 from its initial location
in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. the college has a Central Campus in Blue Bell and a west campus in Pottstown. Along
with these two campuses, the College offers e-learning opportunities as well as courses at various off-site locations, including
the Willow Grove Naval Air Station and Lansdale. Has many assocaite programs and certifications and transfer agreements to
4 year schools.
